As part of a two year Leadership Programme, Garlands devised an activity that supported a two day conference that focused on three key objectives towards the start of the programme:
- For the Senior Management Team to symbolise what brilliant leadership looks, feels and sounds like.
- For leaders to think and act with professionalism and brilliance, establishing a role model identity.
- Aligning personal skills and competence to business needs – match their performance levels to deliver the business goals and purpose.
Our brief was to include all delegates at all levels on the programme and for the activity to encompass learning in the above key objectives. They also wanted the ability to put a ‘curved ball’ into the equation if required. This reflected recent operational challenges and would test the behaviours and competence of the leadership team.
