AT MYTHE BARN
Set in 150 acres and straddling the beautiful Warwickshire and Leicestershire countryside, we think Mythe Farm is a pretty special place. This is where we call “home”… along with two Jack Russell’s called Tilly and Spot, and about 250 sheep.
In 2005 we took over Joe’s family farm and launched our outdoor activities business, which has gone from strength to strength. We have enhanced the landscape by planting 20 acres of trees and after two years of planning and restoration, we opened Mythe Barn, our stunning wedding and event venue.
In case you were wondering, the name ‘Mythe’ comes from the old English ‘meeting of the rivers’. The rivers Anker and Sence meet at the foot of the slope in front of our farmhouse, where legend has it, King Richard III watered his horse before the Battle of Bosworth in 1485. This spot is now nicknamed ‘King Dick’s Hole’.
