At Garlands Corporate, we are proud to work closely with our clients in helping them achieve the outcomes and results they want from an event, no matter how small the team. The NFU Mutual team day was no exception and the Garlands Corporate event staff seemed to have hit the mark again; this time combining a meeting day with activities for a team of 18 delegates.
With the purpose of the day to have a strategic update for the team in the morning, then use activities in the afternoon that would:
- Raise awareness of the skills and knowledge everyone brought to the team,
- Explore in more detail how both competition and collaboration can support the team goals overall, rather than conflict.
This seemingly conflicting brief became a real challenge for our staff to design; competition provided a thread throughout the day, but collaboration was required for success in the end.
